Weigh-In Wednesday and Looking Ahead!
Happy Weigh-In Wednesday, readers!
This past week I lost 1/2 a pound, which is pretty exciting considering that the majority of the week was a Weight Watchers disaster.
This puts my weight loss total at exactly 15 pounds lost since January 4th.
My new mini-goal is going to be to lose 10 more pounds by June 6th. I have a wedding of a friend from college that night, so there will be lots of pictures taken and I want to be able to wear a pretty new dress and look cute in the pics!
Starting Weight: 205
Current Weight: 190
That was 15 pounds in 14.5 weeks. Slow and Steady.
That that means I want to lose 10 pounds in the next 6.5 weeks. It will be tough, especially with finals and everything that’s coming up, but I can totally do it. Especially once school is out and I have more time to work out.

Another Wednesday, another success!
I like this trend I’ve had going on the last couple weeks. Of course with my cousin coming to visit this weekend, going to the Cubs game, drinking LOTS, etc., I’m going to have to work out like a crazy woman to keep the trend going… but I’m willing to do it!
Starting Weight: 205 This week’s Weight lost: 1 pound Total weight Lost: 14.5 pounds Current Weight: 190.5 pounds!!That is almost halfway to my goal weight of 30 pounds (well… my goal is 30-40 pounds, but I’m going with 30 for now).
I am relieved that I lost this week. I ate quite a bit, but worked out like a crazy woman, so I would have been upset if I hadn’t lost at all!
Alright… now I’m off to spend the start of my new Weight Watchers week in the library… ugh!!
Weigh-In Wednesday!
Today was another successful Weigh-In Wednesday! I lost 1.5 pounds this week, wahoo! Starting Weight: 205 Current Weight: 191.5 Total Weight Lost: 13.5 pounds. I am sooo close to seeing 180′s on the scale. I plan on staying in to start getting ready for finals this weekend, so I think not drinking and such will really help with that. And I won’t be spending time hungover if I’m not drinking, so I’ll have no excuse not to get some good workouts in! I’m actually really happy with my 1.5 pound weight loss for this week. I stayed on track with my points pretty well on Wednesday, Friday, and Tuesday, but not so much the other four days. But I had some pretty good workouts in there too, so I think that definitely helped. Now, if I could just start to notice a difference in how I look and have some clothes start to fit again, I’d be ecstatic. (I have a stack of at least 10 pairs of jeans in my closet, all of which were $150+ that I cannot fit into… I just want to wear them again!)… Gotta remember – Slow and Steady wins the race!!! Whoohoo! Even better… I had a pretty good work out today. Did a 5 minute warmup on the stationery bike, then 30 minutes of running/walking on the treadmill (actually ran for 15 minutes of it!), then 15 minutes on the stairmaster, then ab work. Approx 600 calories burned, for 6 Activity Points! Yay!
THEN, when I came back upstairs, I hopped on the scale again and it was 191! Whooo! I haven’t weighed less than 190 since prob. junior year of college (3 years ago), and I can’t wait to see 180′s on the scale.
AND, even better… I am currently in bed, and for the first time in 12 (13? i can’t remember!) weeks of Weight Watchers, I am about to go to sleep with 2 points left over! That never happens!
Man, what a great day!
